‘GOLF FORE MIRACLES’ TOURNAMENT BENEFITS MOST VULNERABLE
PHOENIX, Ariz. (June 5, 2018) – In July, golfers from around the state will gather in the cool pines of Flagstaff to raise money for the programs at Catholic Charities throughout Coconino County. Specifically, proceeds from this event will go to fund work for homeless outreach, foster care families, youth development and housing for individuals and families.
The annual event is crucial in order to sustain the many programs and services provided by Catholic Charities in Northern Arizona, including emergency shelter, permanent supportive housing, affordable housing, foster care, immigration services, outreach to the seriously mentally ill experiencing homelessness, veterans and their families, in-home services and financial education, women exiting jail and pregnant women. The organization is dedicated to helping the community’s most vulnerable with solutions that permanently improve lives.
Golf Fore Miracles will be held July 28th at Continental Country Club, 2380 N. Oakmont Dr., Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and a shotgun start will kick off the event at 8 a.m. An awards lunch will follow the tournament. Golfer registration and sponsorship opportunities are available on the Catholic Charities website.
