FULL CIRCLE CHARITIES OFFERING $2000 MATCH FOR DONATIONS FOR HOTEL VOUCHERS FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES THIS WINTER
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (Feb. 1, 2019): Full Circle Charities, A Packard Family Charity, has offered to match dollar-for-dollar up to $2000 donations to Catholic Charities Community Services specifically to purchase hotel vouchers for homeless families during these cold winter months.
“Experiencing homelessness is tragic for anyone at any time of the year, but during these cold winter months, the falling temperatures, snow, wind and ice could lead to frost bite, hypothermia or even death,” said Sandi Flores, Senior Programs Director, Northern Arizona for Catholic Charities Community Services. “Families with children are especially vulnerable, and, sadly, there are few emergency shelters available for them to stay together. This amazing offer truly speaks to the generosity and concern the Packard family has consistently shown over the years. We are very grateful.”
Flores said that a voucher for a single hotel room is $60-$75 and that larger families often need two rooms. “A gift of any size can keep a family safe, warm and together this winter,” she said.
Donations can be made online at www.catholiccharitiesaz.org/donate-hotel-voucher or in person at Catholic Charities Community Services in Flagstaff at 2101 N. Fourth St. or in Phoenix at 4747 N. 7th. Ave.
