Westside Head Start Completes Procurement Process for Dysart Modular Classroom Building
JULY 20, 2021 – PHOENIX – Westside Head Start previously received Duration Grant #09CH010372 to increase the class daily sessions from half-day to full day for at least 45% of the children enrolled in the program. This increase in full day sessions requires CCCS to secure additional classroom sites. Capital funding was awarded to do so, in cooperation with school districts willing to host our program at their sites.
Catholic Charities Westside Head Start in collaboration with Architectural Resource Team, the construction project manager, has completed the procurement process to select a general contractor for the site development and construction of a modular classroom building and necessary site improvements at 12800 West Varney Road, adjacent to Dysart Elementary School. Catholic Charities Westside Head Start and Architectural Resource Team conducted a comparative analysis review of the bids and recommend awarding the Dysart Modular Classroom Building with Site Improvements project to Bidder #2 –Modular Solutions – Total Bid Sum - $3,393,756.75.
It is hereby notified that Catholic Charities Westside Head Start intends to award Modular Solutions, Ltd. the contract for Catholic Charities Westside Head Start – Dysart Modular Classroom Building and Site Improvements.
We are allotting time for interested parties to comment on, or protest, this award decision. A protest challenging the award of a contract must be filed within 10 days of when a protester knows or should know of the basis of the protest. Please be aware that the regulations regarding the timely filing of protests depend on the circumstances of each case and are strictly enforced.
