accept Mercy Care, Molina Complete Care, and Banner University AHCCCS

Individual Counseling Services in Arizona
Catholic Charities provides counseling in Arizona to individuals nine
years and older. Our counselors provide a nonjudgmental, safe place
for individuals to process their feelings and express their concerns
while learning to cope with stressors and trauma.
People of all
ages can benefit from talking about their feelings, but may not be
comfortable talking to those closest to them or fear they will become
a burden to others if they share their needs. Our counselors provide
a listening ear and have the necessary experience to help individuals
make positive changes in their lives.
Couple and Family Counseling Services in Arizona
Healthy relationships take work. Couples counseling and family counseling are a helpful way for families to learn how to better communicate, manage emotions and express their needs. These sessions often focus on learning more effective ways to communicate and strengthen relationships, in a safe and nonjudgmental atmosphere.
Online Counseling Services in Arizona
Telehealth counseling services make it easier for Arizonans to access affordable counseling services from the comfort and privacy of their own homes. Virtual (online) counseling is available for people who may not be able to travel to our office due to lack of transportation, scheduling, health concerns or other barriers.

We typically offer sessions from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Catholic Charities Counseling program provides counseling services to individuals, couples and families in the Phoenix metro area. We also provide telehealth services to individuals who reside in Arizona but are unable to visit our office.
Our Counseling program is led by a licensed professional counselor (LPC) but mostly staffed by master’s level counseling interns. The internship is part of their training and is a requirement to become licensed.
Catholic Charities provides counseling services by an LPC and master’s level interns. We do not employ psychiatrists.
Counselors are not permitted to prescribe medication. We do not offer prescriptions to any clients.
No, we do not offer childcare. Please make childcare arrangements.
We do not offer transportation, but we are located near the light rail and bus stops.
Our counseling services are fee-based, with a sliding scale based on income. Payments can be made at the time of service or by phone for virtual appointments.
