Catholic Charities Counseling program provides counseling services to individuals, couples and families in the Phoenix metro area. Appointment times vary based on availability, but sessions are typically held at our Phoenix office Monday-Thursday during business hours, until 8:00 p.m. 

Telehealth appointments are also available.

Catholic Charities Counseling services are fee-based with a sliding scale. We accept Mercy Care, Molina Complete Care, and Banner University AHCCCS plans. Please schedule an appointment today by calling 602-749-4405.

What are your hours for counseling?

We typically offer sessions from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Who can receive counseling?

Catholic Charities Counseling program provides counseling services to individuals, couples and families in the Phoenix metro area. We also provide telehealth services to individuals who reside in Arizona but are unable to visit our office.

  Are the counselors licensed?

Our Counseling program is led by a licensed professional counselor (LPC) but mostly staffed by master’s level counseling interns. The internship is part of their training and is a requirement to become licensed.

Do you have psychiatrists?

Catholic Charities provides counseling services by an LPC and master’s level interns. We do not employ psychiatrists.

Can you prescribe medication? 

Counselors are not permitted to prescribe medication. We do not offer prescriptions to any clients.

Do you offer daycare or childcare during counseling?

No, we do not offer childcare. Please make childcare arrangements.

Do you offer transportation?

We do not offer transportation, but we are located near the light rail and bus stops.

How much does counseling cost?

Our counseling services are fee-based, with a sliding scale based on income. Payments can be made at the time of service or by phone for virtual appointments.

How long does it take to get an appointment and start counseling?

Timing will vary based on counselors’ availability. Please call us to learn more.
