My Sisters’ Place opened in 1985 to provide a safe place for individuals and families to flee abuse and heal. My Sisters’ Place is one of only two domestic violence shelters in the East Valley. The location is confidential to protect the individuals and families fleeing abuse. My Sisters’ Place has a maximum of 30 beds; there are 11 rooms, two of which are single occupancy, while nine rooms can accommodate families of various sizes. All services are free for clients.

Anyone experiencing violence and needing the help of domestic violence shelters in the Phoenix metro area and throughout Maricopa County should call 480-890-3039. Instead of calling multiple shelters to find availability, the SAFEDVS (Safe Access For Expedited Domestic Violence Services) hotline is in contact with all area shelters and can start the process of getting victims to safety.
