Free Counseling for Unplanned Pregnancies
Catholic Charities’ pregnancy counselors help thousands of women
and couples in Arizona make informed decisions and birth options for their unplanned pregnancies.
Knowing the facts about parenting, adoption, adoption
law, birth parent rights and also what
to expect after making a decision is a great source of empowerment
for sound decision making. As part
of our service, Catholic Charities' pregnancy counselors
provide the facts on adoption and parenting.
Catholic Charities' pregnancy counselors also provide
compassionate emotional support for women and couples
as they explore their options to parent or make an
adoption plan.
Temporary
infant care is available when women need more time
to contemplate their decision after delivery.
For women and couples who choose to consider adoption,
Catholic Charities can provide support as they match
with certified adoptive families.
Birth parents are
supported as they choose the degree
of openness they wish and select a family. Support
groups and post placement services are also available
to birth parents regardless of
whether they placed through Catholic Charities.
No fees are charged to the pregnancy client.
If you are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and

Choosing between adoption and parenting is not a
light decision. But with Catholic Charities’ comprehensive, compassionate
counseling and education, you can make the right decision for you and
your child.
Infant Adoption Services
Catholic Charities offers comprehensive adoption
services for Arizona families wishing to adopt.
Adoption services provide adoptive families with
information about the adoption process, adoption
law, the pros and cons of adoption and include answering
questions about open adoption
versus closed adoption, the legal rights of birth
parents and adoptive parents, and whether to adopt
a baby, young child or older child. The
program provides home study assessment, assistance
matching with prospective birth parents and post placement support is also available.
Families working with Catholic Charities' adoption
counselors will know the full extent of adoption
options in order to make an educated decision about
what is right for them.
Once placement is made, Catholic Charities offers
post-placement services, including supervision and
support, as a family prepares to finalize their adoption.
Additional support exists throughout
the child's life to help address adoption-related
issues that may arise.
If you are interested
in adopting an infant or older child please call
us and let Catholic Charities’ counselors provide
the education and guidance you need to make the choice
that is best for your family.
