The hours between 3 and 6 p.m. are the most risky, when youth are most likely to:

• participate in or become a victim of violent crime
• experiment with drugs, alcohol and tobacco
• participate in unprotected sex

North Star Youth Partnership helps youth choose healthy lifestyle behaviors that prevent violence; gang activity; substance use; and teen pregnancy through an array of programs that build self-confidence and leadership skills.

Our leadership programs build leadership skills and truly engaged youth in their communities. They develop self confidence and begin to see themselves as integral agents of change.

More than 60,000 Northern Arizona youth have participated in North Star’s award-winning programs since its inception in 1997.
