Children are our future, as the saying goes. They have so much potential to succeed in life if they are given a safe stable environment in which to learn and develop. Catholic Charities touches the lives of children and youth with programs that prepare them to lead safe, healthy, and productive lives, including:

• Abstinence, Health and Puberty Education
• North Star Youth Partnership - helps youth choose healthy lifestyle behaviors that prevent violence; gang activity; substance use; and teen pregnancy through an array of programs that build self-confidence and leadership skills.
• Westside Head Start - provides developmental programs, health screenings and healthy meals and snacks in an effort to prepare disadvantaged children for school.
