Shelter & Housing Volunteer
Our shelter and housing programs provide homeless families with shelter, support services and case management as we help them work towards independence and permanent housing. We need volunteers to teach our clients valuable life-skills, coordinate fun activities for the children and to help maintain and beautify our sites.
Life-Skills Training:
Our shelter and housing programs go beyond shelter to give homeless families the skills they to become independent. We need volunteers to teach our clients skills such as basic organization, parenting, building self-esteem, reducing stress, etc. If you have knowledge or a talent to share, this is for you.
Children’s Activities:
The children in our shelter and housing programs want and need to have positive experiences that are fun and build their self-esteem. We need volunteers to coordinate games, crafts and fun.
Site Maintenance/Beautification:
We want our families to be safe and secure in an environment that is pleasing and comfortable. Do you have green thumb or hand skills to help? We’d love to hear from you.
