Steve Capobres recently joined Catholic Charities Community Services as vice president of business development. Capobres oversees the agency’s marketing, development, housing and social entrepreneurial efforts.

Capobres came to Catholic Charities with more than 20 years of government and consulting experience, working with state government to guide Arizona's community development and affordable housing efforts. In the private sector, individually and through ASU, Capobres consulted with a number of governmental agencies, schools and not-for-profit organizations to assist in planning, program development and community engagement.  Most recently, as the executive director of the Collaboration for a New Century, he worked within the community to assist low-income families obtain a wide range of human services.

Capobres is a native Arizonan who holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Public Administration, both from Arizona State University.  He currently serves the boards of the Arizona Coalition to End Homelessness and Highlands Church in Scottsdale.  He lives in Scottsdale with his wife Jamie and their two teenage daughters.
