Michael Bidwill emcees Catholic Charities Paths to Hope breakfast

Catholic Charities Community Services hosts inaugural Paths to Hope breakfast on May 10 at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs

PHOENIX (March 13, 2012) ─ Arizona Cardinals President Michael Bidwill emcees Catholic Charities Community Services’ inaugural Paths to Hope breakfast on Thursday, May 10 at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort.

“We are very pleased to have someone of Michael Bidwill’s caliber and visibility to host our first Paths to Hope breakfast. He has done so many positive things for his organization and for our community,” said Catholic Charities President & CEO, Bob Brown. “With his help, we hope to introduce our work to new friends and to engage them in our mission of helping the community’s most vulnerable to permanently improve their lives—to step forward and say, ‘I am hope’.”

Catholic Charities has been providing paths to hope for the community’s most vulnerable since 1933. Each path is as unique as those the agency serves and is made possible through volunteers, donors and partners.

The community is invited to an inspirational morning to learn about the work of Catholic Charities and how to become part of the hope that is rebuilding lives and strengthening communities.

Among the clients and volunteers who will share their stories, is winner of the 2012 Helen Shea Volunteer of the Year Award, Winifred Hoots of Prescott, Arizona.

Catholic Charities serves people of all faiths, backgrounds and abilities to permanently improve lives.

Registration begins at 7 a.m. with the breakfast and program lasting from 7:30-8:45 a.m. The breakfast is free, but reservations are required by April 23. Space is limited. To register or sponsor the event, contact Donna Rodgers, development manager, drodgers@cc-az.org or 602.650.4827.
