Kristen Schmidt - Vice President

Dr. Kristen Schmidt plans, coordinates, and evaluates program operations for Catholic Charities. She directly supervises divisional directors and oversees continuous quality improvement and the accreditation process. In addition, Kristen serves as adjunct faculty at Northern Arizona University and Central Arizona Community College.

Kristen joined Catholic Charities in 1995. She has over 25 years of experience working in the psychology and social work fields. Prior to working at Catholic Charities, she was the director for Desert Vista West Behavioral Health Center and the clinical director for Devereux Arizona. Kristen received her Ph.D. in educational psychology from Arizona State University. She also holds master's degrees in educational psychology and social work from ASU, as well as a bachelor's degree in social work.

Kristen is married and has two grown children. She enjoys cooking and hiking.
